Our desire is to help women who has been abused, pushed into prostitution, young girls without parents, young windows, old mothers who has nobody to take care of them and other affected women.
Most of these women are coming from poorest background. In our home the women can get love and care and safety. Also we want to give them a possibility for education and to learn for example tailering, candlemaking and other skills with the purpose to make them independant.
When I was 15 years old I felt a calling to work with mission in India and help poor people. But my life took another direction and I lived a very tough life where I experienced abuse and violence. I became a single mother and raised 3 daughters. All my life was struggle. I have been working 40 years with women as midwife.
I can tell you specially about one girl. She is about 13 years old. Both her parents died and she has been left alone with her grandmother and her grandmother cannot work because of an injured arm. This girl and her grandmother are the first who will move into our home once its ready.
When I was 60 years, 45 years after my calling to India I came to India for the first time.
I saw a lot of poverty and specially the situation of many women touched my heart.Together with pastor and social worker Obed John we decided to build a home for these women.
We have already 55 women who are waiting for this home to get ready.
We now need to build toilets, washrooms and a kitchen. We hope and pray for your support so that the home can be completed. You can join us in this great mission to help these unpriviliged women to get a better life and a bright future through your valuable financial support.
